As a newcomer to the realm of oil painting, I have found all works in this medium to have proven a challenge for me. As I experiment, I get closer to revealing my vision- discovering new techniques and taking further risks. Each stroke teaches me something new, and within this, I relish, knowing that I am discovering my voice. With each error and each adjustment, I am constantly reminded that art and uncertainty are of the same ilk.
